Role Description
The Food Server role at The Vintage Lisbon is a full-time hybrid position based in Lisbon, with some tasks that can be completed from home, such as menu familiarization or online service training.
On-site, the Food Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
The role involves coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring orders are accurate, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
The Food Server also handles guest inquiries, manages payments, and supports a positive guest experience.
Administrative or training-related activities may occasionally be performed remotely, as agreed with management.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage offerings and Food Service procedures to ensure accurate and efficient table service.
Basic Cooking awareness to understand menu items, ingredients, and dietary considerations when assisting guests.
Ability to work full-time in a hybrid schedule, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality environments is preferred.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
Proficiency in Portuguese and good command of English or another international language is an advantage.
