Job Description
The internship lasts 2 months (June & July) during which the Visiting Analyst will gain insights into the way startups operate while understanding the decision‐making process behind venture investments.
The Visiting Analyst will be exposed to the exciting and challenging work of Venture Capital and will have autonomy over his/her own projects.
Key responsibilities will include (and are not limited to): Conduct market research and perform deep dives into specific segments to identify new investment trends and opportunities;
Support the investment team with deal flow and perform due diligence, including analyzing information from industry & technology experts, customers, and competition;
Prepare presentation materials related to current and new opportunities;
Help maintain the company's database and work on ad‐hoc internal projects;
Work on initiatives that will further strengthen the Semapa Next network and community.
Qualifications / Profile Currently pursuing a Master's degree (Business Management, Finance, Engineering);
Outstanding analytical skills, detail‐oriented, and ability to work autonomously;
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
Passionate about new technology, emerging business models, and the startup ecosystem;
Practical work experience in the startup ecosystem is preferred.
