Operations & Finance We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst – Credit Risk Stress Testing
Join an international team developing and supporting credit risk stress testing solutions.
You will combine business analysis with strong technical skills to support calculation engines, data quality and regulatory reporting.
Analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional specifications for credit risk stress testing solutions.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and developers to deliver system enhancements within regulatory requirements and project deadlines.
Use SQL and Python to analyze data, investigate discrepancies and validate calculation results.
Define and execute functional tests for calculation engines and user interfaces.
Participate in the production of official stress test results and provide functional support to end users.
Support solutions covering credit risk parameters, IFRS9 provisions, capital requirements and risk-weighted assets.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, system reliability, maintainability and scalability.
Maintain functional documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in an Agile environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science or another relevant field.
Relevant experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Expert in Credit Risk, IFRS9, Basel regulations or Stress Testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to contribute immediately to technical analysis and problem-solving.
Knowledge of Py Spark is highly valued.
Familiarity with Dataiku and Agile methodologies is a plus.
Previous banking experience is an advantage.
Strong interest in further developing expertise in credit risk and stress testing.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data validation.
Ability to explain complex information clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Strong teamwork, planning and organizational skills, with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
Proficiency in English at C1 level is mandatory; French is a plus.
Availability for a position based in Lisbon.
This role offers a gross annual salary between
€24,000 and €38,500 , defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
Permanent contract (CTI).
