IT Manager We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology operations of our company in Funchal.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology management, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining efficient and secure systems.
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, developing and implementing technology strategies, monitoring system performance, and ensuring data security.
This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$, without accommodation or visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement technology strategies in line with company goals.
Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of existing systems.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Ensure data security by implementing necessary measures.
Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions.
Prepare budget proposals for technology projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in information technology management.
Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining systems.
Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
Experience in budgeting and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.
Experience working in the same industry as our company (insert industry here).
Certification in relevant technologies (e. g.
Cisco, Microsoft).
