Bilingual Interpreter/Translator — Real-Time (Funchal) - $1,300 A Month in Braga

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance interpreter/translator to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients in various settings, including meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings. You will also be responsible for translating written materials from one language to another.

Requirements

Fluent in at least two languages (including English)

Bachelor's degree in translation or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an interpreter/translator

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional demeanor and appearance

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel when necessary

Responsibilities

Provide accurate interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events

Translate written materials from one language to another with accuracy and cultural sensitivity

Conduct research on relevant terminology and industry-specific terminology

Edit and proofread translated materials for accuracy and consistency

Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted/translated information

Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences for interpretation services

Salary The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location This position is located in Lisbon, Portugal. Please note that accommodation is not provided.
