Senior Architect - Funchal, Portugal As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion.
You will work closely with clients and a team of architects to develop design solutions that meet their needs and budget while adhering to local building codes and regulations.
Your strong technical skills and creativity will be crucial in creating innovative and functional designs that are also aesthetically pleasing.
This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month, with the added benefits of a free visa and ticket to Funchal, Portugal.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or other design software
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from start to finish
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements, budget, and timeline
- Create detailed drawings, models, renderings, and presentations using design software
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee construction progress to ensure designs are implemented correctly according to plans
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and deadlines effectively
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress
