Finance Curricular Intern - Controlling

Olympus Medical Products Portugal is a subsidiary of the Olympus Group.
This curricular internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization and automation of Finance reporting processes through Power BI and data analytics.
The role is focused on supporting the development of dashboards and management reporting tools that enhance data-driven decision making, increase transparency, and improve operational efficiency across the Finance department.
Your responsibilities Support the preparation of management reporting and financial performance analysis.
Assist in cost variance analysis and performance monitoring.
Import, transform and publish data in Power BI.
Develop dashboards and visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Create and maintain measures, KPIs and business metrics within Power BI.
Analyze data trends and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
Test and validate dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of reporting outputs.
Document dashboard development processes and prepare user guides and supporting materials.
Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance department.
Bachelor's or Master's degree student in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics.
Students from Mathematics, Management Information Systems or related analytical disciplines with a strong interest in Finance and Business Intelligence are also encouraged to apply.
Basic English skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Curiosity for automation and process improvement.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to interpret and communicate information effectively.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good organizational skills.
