Experience with backend development following modern software engineering practices; Solid knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures; Ability to build scalable cloud-native applications and microservices; Track record of integrating enterprise applications via REST APIs, messaging platforms, and event-based architectures; Strong software design skills with an emphasis on maintainability, resilience, and reusable architecture; Expertise in systems managing workflow state, long-running processes, retries, and fault recovery; Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure software development; Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with AI engineers, product managers, platform engineers, and domain specialists; Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools to improve software delivery is a strong plus.
