Why this job is important As our
Factoring Specialist , you'll help keep factoring activity running accurately and effectively across more than nine markets. Working within the Kantar Business Services GBS centre, you'll manage the process from invoice identification and submission through to refunds, reconciliation and accounting entries.
It's a role where strong financial knowledge meets hands-on operational ownership. You'll work across multiple currencies, collaborate with our factoring institution and internal colleagues, and help maintain accurate financial records across a complex international environment.
What you’ll be doing
Identify invoices suitable for factoring and check customer credit limits, requesting increases when required.
Prepare and manage remittance, agreement, assignment and refund information, working closely with our factoring institution.
Manage factoring refunds through Kyriba, making sure they're appropriately approved and processed.
Review bank statements and assignment information, reconciling factoring submissions accurately.
Prepare general ledger entries and post journals in our enterprise resource planning system to reflect factoring transactions
The ideal skills & experience
Previous experience in accounts receivable factoring, supported by good accounting and process knowledge.
A degree or equivalent experience with a focus on finance.
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and confidence working with large volumes of financial data.
Strong English communication skills and experience working across an international or matrix organisation.
An organised, collaborative approach, with the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines effectively.
