Commercial Business Controller Lisbon, Portugal Hubexo Global Finance We're hiring a Commercial Business Controller in Lisbon to work with Sales and Marketing leaders across the UK and Central Europe, as well as Global Marketing.
You'll own revenue and sales and marketing forecasts, challenge assumptions and help leaders make better decisions about growth and investment.
You'll own your numbers, have direct exposure to commercial leadership and the autonomy to turn financial insight into action.
You'll also help improve how commercial finance works as our global finance function continues to evolve.
What you'll do
Own revenue and sales and marketing reporting, budgets and forecasts across the UK and Central Europe.
Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders on growth, pricing, resource allocation and investment decisions.
Analyse bookings, pipeline, churn, upsell and pricing to understand performance and identify what could improve.
Assess sales and marketing costs, including headcount, commissions, campaigns and channel spend, and evaluate returns.
Build business cases and scenario models, then track whether commercial initiatives deliver the expected value.
Contribute to Saa S metrics reporting, including annual recurring revenue (ARR), net revenue retention and customer acquisition cost.
Work with Global FP&A and fellow Business Controllers to align commercial forecasts and plans with the Group view.
Help strengthen finance processes and share effective ways of working.
What you'll bring
Substantial experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering, business controlling or FP&A.
Strong forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling and performance analysis skills, with ownership of an area or process end to end.
Experience working with senior commercial stakeholders and the confidence to question assumptions and influence decisions.
The ability to turn complex numbers into clear, useful advice for colleagues outside finance.
Experience of established finance processes and the judgement to improve them in a changing environment.
An interest in how software and subscription businesses grow.
Saa S or technology experience, international exposure, finance-function improvement or experience developing colleagues would be valuable, but aren't essential.
A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or local equivalent) is welcome, not required.
