Hei Q Graphene X is developing an advanced porous graphene membrane platform for next-generation lithium-metal and anode-free batteries.
The technology is designed to enable significantly higher energy density and address applications where weight, performance and endurance are critical.
We are looking for a dedicated Venture CEO to lead Hei Q Graphene X as an independent company through its next stage of development.
This is a hands‑on company‑building role.
Working with the Board of Directors and Hei Q’s technical leadership, you will turn technical progress into a focused commercial strategy, customer relationships, industrial partnerships and revenue.
Your mandate You will have day‑to‑day responsibility for the company’s strategy, operations, commercial development and organizational growth.
Develop and execute a clear business and commercialization plan.
Build relationships with prospective customers and convert qualified opportunities into development programmes, commercial agreements and sales.
Establish strategic, industrial and manufacturing partnerships, including within the South Korean battery ecosystem.
Work closely with the Group CIO and technical team to align commercial commitments with technology validation, qualification and production milestones.
Support Board‑led financing activities through business planning, investor engagement and due diligence.
Build the organization, capabilities and operating model required for the company’s next stage.
Create a credible path from the current pre‑revenue stage to meaningful commercial sales within 24 months.
Report to the Board on performance, opportunities, risks and decisions required.
What you bring You are an entrepreneurial business leader who can build a company around a technically complex innovation.
Leadership experience in an early‑stage technology company, venture or business unit with direct commercial and operational accountability.
A strong record of developing customers, negotiating strategic partnerships and generating revenue in technically demanding markets.
The ability to work effectively with scientists and engineers and translate technical progress into a credible commercial proposition.
Experience supporting fundraising, engaging with investors and contributing to financing processes.
Experience building teams and operating effectively with limited resources.
Sound judgement, resilience, personal drive and a strong sense of accountability.
The ability to operate internationally across customers, investors, technical teams and industrial partners.
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be particularly valuable: Batteries or energy storage Advanced materials Defense, aerospace or unmanned systems Deep technology commercialization Industrial manufacturing or technology licensing Asian battery manufacturing and partnership ecosystems Why join Hei Q Graphene X This is an opportunity to lead an independent deep technology venture at a defining stage of its development.
