You will join the Industrial business unit that includes the refining, logistics, and cogeneration activities in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as the project to transform the Sines refinery through green hydrogen and biofuels.

About your future Team You will join Turnaround & Shutdowns team, within Sines Refinery maintenance team.

How will your day-to-day look like

• Develop, maintain and continuously update the Turnaround Logistics Plan (logistics map), covering laydown yards, access and traffic routes, lifting strategy, transport, parking, signage, lighting, temporary utilities (power, water, air), wastewater, waste management and workforce facilities (canteen/rest areas, toilets, shuttles).
• Define and execute the material logistics strategy for the turnaround in SAP, ensuring requisitions/reservations, kitting/separation, dispatch and timely delivery to the field in coordination with Supply Chain and Warehouses.
• Align logistics requirements with project and contract preparation teams (e. g., washing pad, equipment/parts handling and storage, packaging, preservation and identification) to prevent damages and rework.
• Specify logistics requirements for tenders and scopes of work, support the award process (technical clarifications, service levels, mobilization/demobilization and interfaces) and ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal requirements.
• Plan and coordinate mobilization of resources and temporary facilities (cranes and lifting means, forklifts, MEWPs, containers, scaffolding interfaces, mobile workshops, temporary energy/air/water), ensuring availability, safe operating windows and integration with permit-to-work and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate daily on-site logistics during execution, prioritizing support services for work fronts (dispatch, deliveries, returns) and proactively resolving constraints to minimize downtime caused by logistics failures.
• Manage interfaces with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, HSE and contractors; maintain clear reporting (status, risks, actions) and dashboards using Office 365 tools (Excel/Teams/Share Point; Power BI/Lists/Planner valued).
• Control performance of contracted logistics services (internal transport, utilities, waste, support equipment), validate service levels, hours/quantities, consumptions and deliverables; manage forecast vs actual logistics cost, variations and internal approvals.
• Lead turnaround close-out logistics: planned demobilization, site reinstatement, consolidation of logistics documentation (deliveries, receipts, consumption, inventories, service evidence), contract closure support, claims handling and capture of lessons learned for continuous improvement.

What makes you unique

• 5+ years’ experience in an industrial environment (preferably refinery/petrochemical), including turnarounds, major maintenance or large projects.
• Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or ecquivalent
• Contract management: service level follow-up, measurement/verification of hours & quantities, variation orders, cost control and support to contractual close-out.
• Technical background in mechanical/metalworking scope (piping, static equipment, assembly/disassembly, basic welding/materials concepts and QA/QC interfaces).
• Office 365 skills (Excel, Teams, Share Point, Power Point; Power BI/Lists/Planner as a plus), MS Project and operational SAP.
• Strong planning, organization and rigor to handle large volumes of information, multiple interfaces and tight deadlines; ability to prioritize daily under pressure.
• Strong HSE mindset and operational discipline; ability to be present in the field during critical periods, including extended hours when required.
• Clear and assertive communication with multiple stakeholders; negotiation and expectation management with service providers; proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement (lessons learned).
