Preservation Architect vacancy in Lisbon Portugal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Lisbon.
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.
Responsibilities Conduct thorough research and analysis of historic buildings and structures
Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to execute preservation projects
Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to historic preservation
Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
Create detailed drawings and specifications for preservation work
Oversee the construction process to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to preservation standards
Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and documentation Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
Extensive knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, materials, and methods
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Proficient in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite or other design software
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
