Right now, we are looking for a
Computer and Virtualization Engineer for a client on our Talent Team.
Your responsibilities include: Designvirtualization and data storage architectures.
Define Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.
Technicallyevaluate and validate new hypervisors and Kubernetes solutions.
Identifyopportunities for functional improvements, define technical standards, andsupport the selection of technology partners through RFI/RFP processes.
Technicallyassess and validate new vendors and partners.
Leadend-to-end migration and platform evolution projects.
Managethe logical capacity and performance of Cloud platforms.
Supportsoftware and hardware licensing budget planning.
You must have: Proactive mindset with a stronginterest in researching and adopting new technologies and features.
Strong knowledge of VMware v Sphere, KVM, and Kubernetes architecture.
Experience administering operatingsystems such as RHEL-based Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows Server.
Solid understanding of hardware andinfrastructure systems, including servers, switching, storage, and TCP/IPnetworking.
Experience with scripting languagessuch as Bash and Python.
Hands-on experience with automationtools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices, including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experiencedesigning and managing observability platforms using Prometheus and Grafana.
Strong technical project managementskills.
Excellent problem-solving andanalytical abilities.
Vendor and stakeholder managementexperience.
Experience in Hybrid Cloudarchitecture.
