As one of the world's leading lithium battery manufacturers, CALB is expanding its European operations and is looking for a Procurement – Battery Raw Materials professional to join our team in Lisbon.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in securing the critical raw materials that support next-generation battery technologies and contribute directly to the growth of sustainable mobility and energy storage solutions.
What You'll Be Doing Develop and manage relationships with suppliers of battery raw materials.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers.
Lead commercial negotiations and support contract management activities.
Monitor market trends, supply risks, and pricing developments.
Develop sourcing strategies to improve supply security and cost competitiveness.
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and R&D teams.
Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure timely material availability to support production and business objectives.
What We're Looking For
Highly Valued Experience Experience within the lithium battery, energy storage, EV, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of battery raw materials such as cathodes, anodes, electrolytes, separators, and related materials.
Background in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiations.
Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturing supply chains.
Qualifications & Skills Academic degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
Min. 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Professional proficiency in English.
Willingness to work 100% on-site in Lisbon, Portugal.
