Title: Network and Systems Administrator.
We are hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Braga.
As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's computer network and systems, ensuring their smooth operations and security.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
Monitor network performance to ensure high availability.
Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Manage network security, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.
Perform regular backups of important data.
Maintain server infrastructure, including updates, patches, and upgrades.
Provide technical support for employees on network-related issues.
Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement network policies and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and LAN/WAN configuration.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS or Azure).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
