We are looking for a talented Pre-Sales Engineer to support our OEM sales team in bringing innovative automotive technology solutions to market. You will be the technical bridge between our customers and our product, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value for automotive OEMs. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical depth and excellent communication skills.
Overall responsibilities and duties:
Support OEM sales team in explaining Appning’s SaaS platform and capabilities to potential customers .
Lead technical demonstrations of Appning products tailored to customer needs and use cases
Support RFQ (Request for Quote) process by preparing technical documentation and specifications
Develop deep understanding of customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Provide technical guidance on integration possibilities, architecture, and implementation approaches
Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment and success
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Solid experience with Android development or Android architecture
Proven passion for technology and staying current with industry trends
Experience engaging with enterprise clients or OEM partners
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Background in automotive technology or connected vehicles
Experience in SaaS or software platform sales engineeringFamiliarity with OEM business processes and requirements
Knowledge of infotainment systems, in-vehicle applications, or mobile platforms
