We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing Global Business Services (GBS) organization in Lisbon.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, supporting end-to-end accounts receivable processes across multiple markets and business units.
As part of the Accounts Receivable team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, supporting collections activities, and ensuring accurate cash application.
You will collaborate closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and finance teams to maintain healthy cash flow and deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts and monitor outstanding receivable balances.
Perform cash application and account reconciliation activities.
Follow up on overdue invoices and support collections processes.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing queries.
Maintain accurate customer master data and account records.
Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Support reporting activities and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and financial procedures.
Requirements
Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Order-to-Cash, Finance Operations, or Shared Services.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
