Join a collaborative Payments technology team delivering the evolution, scalability and cloud modernization of a business-critical product.
The application includes frontend, backend and batch-processing components.
You will guide the technical direction, shape architecture and help the team deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical reference for the Agile team and guide decisions across the software development lifecycle.
Design scalable solutions and oversee the delivery of testable, maintainable software.
Define frontend architecture and lead development with Angular.
Design, deploy and manage cloud-native applications and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Promote coding standards, code reviews, secure API integration and engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance and coordinate releases and cloud migration work.
Mentor developers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
Required skills and experience
Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience. 9+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership on complex projects.
Strong Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Maven and Git. 9+ years of hands-on secure microservices.
Hands-on GCP experience, including services such as GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Spanner or Cloud Storage.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, XL Deploy or XL Release, and SQL databases such as Oracle.
Fluent English (minimum B2/C1); French is a plus.
Availability for a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the Lisbon office.
Knowledge of Agile methods and Jira, strong communication, problem-software.
